Good SHoW-21
Hi,
When we crowned the big brother itself we were planning to do the honors to the small brother also. But tough competition didn't allow us to select him as the SHoW (Super Hero of the Week). Vijay, Vidhya and Moses - all had good reasons to get crowned.
So, what is that Leo Felix (the small brother) has achieved now, apart from being a decent small brother to his big brother?
He left BC and joined Logica CMG, which is one of the great MNCs in India. Recently he left Logica also and joined a new company called Motive (A start-up MNC). That's when we were planning to SHoW him. It's not joining a new company, but doing it in style that mattered. The jump was for more than 100%. Industry standards is supposed to be somewhere around 25%. Before or after Arun (Great Wall of Microsoft), I never heard of anybody getting more than 100% jump. It's not just that. Within a few months, he (though being one of the junior most fellows around) is flying to onsite today. It's indeed an achievement. Good SHoW Felix! Wishes to have a great time in the US and come back with lots of... no, not chocolates, money and experience!!!
Felix came from BC Channai to Bangalore and joined the Microsoft team here. We worked together on the great LogSmart system and even did an implementation in Belgaum for Surfa Coats (one of the most painful affairs BC had ever had). We also shared a lot of stories and good times there. I think he also worked with Radha (Mannina Maga) in HLL for sometime. We three together form a triangle hence:-).
As a professional, I know him as a guy who is very good at R&D and some one who loves taking up technical challenges. Personally... no, I can't tell all the stories that we shared because we have his respected brother also in the group:-). (Is telling them out better than torturing like this, Felix!?:-)) I found a good company in him (along with Vijay and many others) in pulling the legs of people like Gururaj (GG or Gji), Padhu (Jackson) and Senthil (one of the romantic characters in the group... I don't know why he is still silent in the group), both on and off the field (I mean "within and outside the office").
BTW - Leo! Is your sun sign Leo?
